🩶 Anbernic RG Cube and Nintendo Switch 2 Thoughts 🩶

henloo she's here, my RG Cube came in 1st of April.. It took me several days to familiarise myself with it, setting it up, and customising it to my preferences. I ordered some button covers and thumb grip that arrived today and finally im ready to showcase my Anbernic RG Cube! Wallpaper is by six9w, app icons by Mal, console art by chuu0105. Please check out these amazing artists that i linked, without them my handheld device wouldn't feel so comfy and so expressive of my current inner world. I also made a short video edit where you can see the current games im playing, my favourite being pokemon unbound and rilakkuma nakayoshi! I'm using daijisho as a frontend launcher and i really love how cuztomisable it is. Im very content with my current setup! 🧸💕
Days after i got my rg cube the switch 2 was announced, with how expensive the new console is going to be + game prices moving forward, i think i made the right choice to go retro handheld route for now. I already have beef with nintendo with how they are handling main pokemon games, even more so now with these pricing decisions i just cannot stomach it anymore. Im more than happy to enjoy their older titles on my RG cube. Although i will be shaking in my boots for sure if they announce a new Animal Crossing title. But how likely is that? it's only been 5 years since the last one. I do hope if a new animal crossing game gets annoucned, there would be a lot of 2nd hand switch2 consoles out already. OR more handheld developers (like Anbernic, Ayaneo, Retroid, etc) release powerful device enough to emulate Switch 2, PS5, and Windows games cuz i think that is where we are heading. These are my thoughts but what do i know.
